Custody Calendar is a co-parenting calendar application for iOS. We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Custody Calendar, you agree to the practices described below.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to provide the app's core functionality:

• Parent name, used to identify each parent within the shared calendar.
• Custody schedule data, the events, schedules, and notes you create in the app.

We do not collect email addresses, location data, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or any other personal information.

How Your Data Is Stored and Synced

Your data is stored locally on your device using Apple CloudKit, which keeps your information within your personal iCloud account.

To allow co-parents to share a single custody calendar, schedule data is also synced between authorized co-parent accounts through Supabase, our secure backend provider. Data in transit is encrypted using industry standard TLS, and data at rest is protected by the security controls provided by Apple and Supabase.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the core features of the app.
• To sync your custody schedule between you and your co-parent.
• To respond to support requests you send to us.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not share your data with advertisers.
• We do not display advertising in the app.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.

Third-Party Services

We rely on two service providers to operate the app: Apple (CloudKit, for on-device and iCloud storage) and Supabase (for secure co-parent syncing). These providers process your data solely on our behalf and in accordance with their own privacy and security commitments.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app or by emailing us at the address below. Once deleted, your data is removed from our Supabase systems. Data stored in your personal iCloud account is managed by you through Apple.

Children's Privacy

Custody Calendar is intended for use by parents and legal guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you within the app.
